A Study on Influencing Factors Between Benefit Type, Service Delivery System and Need according to Long-term Care Insurance Grade

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective : This study aims to find out the influencing factors between the benefit type, service delivery system, and needs according to the long-term care insurance recognition grade.
Methods : This study targeted 169 users of long-term care insurance services for the elderly in the Chungcheongnam-do region. For data analysis, frequency analysis was performed for general characteristics and multinomial logistic regression analysis was performed for influencing factors using SPSS 25.0 Ver.
Results : The results of the test of the suitability and likelihood ratio between the benefit type, service delivery system, and needs according to the long-term care insurance recognition grade were found to be significant. ‘Recognition grade’ and ‘service delivery system, service need and grade 1, 2, 3, 5’ showed no significant influencing factors, but ‘short-term protection’ variable of grade 4 had a partial but very significant effect. It was confirmed that there was a factor (p <.001).
Conclusion : In this study, we looked at the influencing factors between benefit types, service delivery systems, and needs according to long-term care insurance accreditation grades, and obtained significant results. Therefore, it is necessary to consider these influencing factors in future long-term care services based on the results of this study.
